Our Magnum Opus
"It's Latin...it means Great Work...the finest thing I've ever made." Charolette the spider
We got this interesting name from the movie Charolette's Web. Charolette the spider explains her Magnum Opus as she describes her eggsack. Her Magnum Opus is the whole reason she is alive, and when it is finished she can leave this earth. And so, our family is truly Our Magnum Opus...and it is nowhere near finished.

Annacy's Birthday!
Hooray for Annacy's fifth birthday! We met friends at Chuck E Cheese's and played, laughed, ate cupcakes, opened presents, played more, and shared germs. (you have to wonder what kinds of germs are found on any random game joystick.) The kids loved it. We are so glad Annacy is five. I asked her if she felt any different and she said she wants to be 18. Oh boy.
On a side note... Our son can sleep anywhere. When the kids watch TV I find him in the most random places. Notice there are two very comfy, empty couches available. But Simers feel asleep on the coffee table. He is just like his dad. (no I have never found Brian asleep on the coffee table, but he can sleep practically standing up.)

that is a wonderful picture of Annacy.
Happy birthday to her! Side note, if there were a personal hell for everyone, mine would be Chuck E. Cheese's on a Saturday with the music on loud. You are a brave woman. Hope all is well.
Looks like a fun birthday! My kids can sleep anywhere too :) JS&S
